The 2015 SIA Factbook: Your Source for Semiconductor Industry and Market Data

These facts and graphics — and many others — are now available for free in the recently completed 2015 SIA Factbook.

The 2015 SIA Factbook presents a picture of the U.S. semiconductor industry and global market using data. The data is updated through 2014, and most of it is presented over a 20-year period, which gives the reader an accurate picture of long-term industry and market trends. Sections 1 and 2 of the Factbook focus on the global industry and market, and sections 3, 4, and 5 focus on capital and R&D investment, jobs, and productivity, respectively.

The U.S. semiconductor industry has a great story to tell about how semiconductors improve our lives, strengthen our country, and build our future.  The SIA Factbook provides one unique and critical way to tell this story: through the use of numbers.  It also helps demonstrate the strength and promise of the U.S. semiconductor industry and why it is critical for policymakers to enact measures that boost growth and promote innovation.
